ThinkBIG program

ThinkBIG students receive up-to-date technical training on Cat equipment and systems through a combination of classroom instruction, hands-on laboratory learning and a paid internship at a Butler Machinery dealership location to further the learning from the classroom and lab.

HALF-TIME ON CAMPUS, HALF-TIME PAID INTERNSHIP

ButlerMAX

ButlerMAX students receive up-to-date technical training on ag equipment and systems through a combination of classroom instruction, hands-on laboratory learning and a paid internship at a Butler dealership location to further the learning from the classroom and lab. Upon completion of the ButlerMAX program, graduates earn an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Diesel Technology. Graduates will have the opportunity to become a full-time ag diesel technician with a Butler Machinery or Butler Ag dealership location, and great potential for career advancement within the company.

FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

Educational Opportunities

A service department work-study internship at Butler Machinery gives students exposure to many departments within our company, while they get on-the-job training alongside a full-time service technician mentor.

FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS

Diesel Technician Co-Op

Diesel Technician Co-Op | Gain practical experience working with heavy and agricultural equipment, as well as the diesel industry. We offer college students an unparalleled educational experience that emphasizes hands-on learning.
