Twylah Blotsky Receives '2025 Women You Need to Know & Watch in North Dakota Business' Award

The Greater North Dakota Chamber unveils its annual lists of Women You Need to Know and Watch in North Dakota business.

The Greater North Dakota Chamber is North Dakota’s premier non-partisan business advocacy organization, driven by its members and guided by free market ideas. Members of the Greater North Dakota Chamber careers range from sole proprietors to publicly traded corporations, trade associations and local chambers of commerce. The organization works to deliver a unifying voice for business by advocating for public policies to ensure businesses can grow in North Dakota’s economy and secure their position in the global market.

The award is curated annually with insights from the Greater North Dakota Chamber alumni and partners, honoring those who are not only excellent at what they do but are also a huge asset in advancing business success across the state. This year, Twylah Blotsky, President and CEO of Butler Machinery Company, was selected as one of the fourteen Women You Need to Know in North Dakota Business.

As the article states, “Twylah Blotsky is the President and CEO of Butler Machinery Company, a leading provider of construction and agricultural equipment, located in Fargo, North Dakota. Her connection with the company began in her pre-teen years, and her full-time career now spans over 30 years. She has held various positions of increasing responsibility, including Accounting Manager, Director of IT, Marketing and Process Improvement, as well as serving as the Easter North Dakota Operations Manager, overseeing six locations before being appointed President and CEO in 2019.

Blotsky holds a degree in Accounting from the University of North Dakota and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). She also earned a Six Sigma Black Belt certification. Blotsky’s leadership has been essential to Butler Machinery’s growth and strong company culture. She has instilled a deep understanding and commitment to the company’s mission: “To build long-term relationships founded on trust, creating mutual growth and success.” Twylah Blotsky is commited to community involvement. She currently serves on the boards of the UND Alumni Association and Foundation, Ralph Englestad Arena, Lignite Energy Council and Pioneer Equipment Dealers Association. Blotsky enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 adult sons. When she has free time; you will find her enjoying ND hockey, on a horse or spending time in Medora.”
