Eligibility

The Butler Ag 100-Hour Tractor Demo Giveaway is open to legal residents who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry and reside within Butler’s territory in one of the following eligible locations:

• North Dakota
• South Dakota
• Nebraska
• Clay County, Minnesota
• Daniels County, Montana
• Dawson County, Montana
• McCone County, Montana
• Richland County, Montana
• Roosevelt County, Montana
• Sheridan County, Montana
• Wibaux County, Montana

Employees and directors of Butler Machinery Company, its subsidiaries and affiliates, as well as members of their immediate families and households, are not eligible to enter or win.

The winner must have an agricultural operation, or authorized access to an agricultural operation, suitable for the tractor demo and must meet all insurance, safety, operational, and equipment-use requirements established by Butler Machinery Company before receiving the demo tractor.

Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

Giveaway Period

The Giveaway begins on October 1, 2026, at 8 AM Central Time and ends on December 31, 2026, at 11:59 PM Central Time.

All eligible entries must be received during the Giveaway Period.

How to Enter

To enter the Giveaway, visit butlermachinery.com during the Giveaway Period and complete and submit the official online entry form.

All required fields on the entry form must be completed accurately. Entries that are incomplete, inaccurate, fraudulent, or do not comply with the Official Rules may be disqualified at the discretion of Butler Machinery Company, subject to applicable law.

Limited to one entry per person during the Giveaway Period.

No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase an entrant’s odds of winning.

Prize

One eligible winner will receive the opportunity to use one qualifying Fendt or Massey Ferguson tractor for up to 100 engine hours.

Qualifying tractors may include:

• Fendt 600 Vario Series
• Fendt 700 Vario Series
• Fendt 800 Vario Series
• Fendt 900 Vario Series
• Fendt 1000 Vario Series
• Massey Ferguson 6S Series
• Massey Ferguson 7S Series
• Massey Ferguson 8S Series
• Massey Ferguson 9S Series

The prize consists solely of temporary use of one qualifying tractor for up to 100 engine hours and does not include ownership of the tractor.

The specific tractor brand, series, model, horsepower, configuration, and available features will be determined by Butler Machinery Company based on equipment availability, the winner’s operation, intended application, geographic location, timing, and other operational considerations.

Any Fendt or Massey Ferguson preference indicated by the entrant during registration is considered a preference only and does not guarantee that a specific brand, model, or series will be provided.

The approximate retail value of the 100-hour tractor demo is $20,000.

North Dakota’s contest prize-notice statute includes provisions addressing disclosure of the prize, value, odds, restrictions, eligibility limitations, and certain costs associated with obtaining or using a prize.

Demo Period and Availability

The timing of the 100-hour tractor demo is determined by Butler Machinery Company in coordination with the winner.

The demo is subject to tractor availability, weather, field conditions, transportation, seasonal demand, and other operational considerations.

The winner is not guaranteed use of the tractor during a specific planting, haying, or harvest period.

The winner will be permitted to use the qualifying tractor for up to 100 engine hours from the day the demo begins. The tractor must be returned when the 100-engine-hour limit or designated demo period is reached. The demo must be used in the Spring of 2027 or Fall of 2027, not both seasons.

Equipment and Operator Requirements

Before receiving the demo tractor, the winner will be required to:

• Provide satisfactory proof of insurance
• Provide proof of identity and age
• Execute Butler Machinery Company’s applicable equipment demonstration agreement
• Demonstrate that the intended use and application are appropriate for the tractor
• Agree to follow all manufacturer and Butler Machinery Company operating and safety requirements
• Complete any additional documentation reasonably required by Butler Machinery Company

The tractor must be used only for lawful, approved agricultural purposes and operated in accordance with manufacturer instructions, applicable laws, Butler Machinery requirements, and the applicable equipment demonstration agreement.

The tractor may not be sold, transferred, leased, loaned to another party, modified, or used for an unauthorized purpose.

Fuel, Transportation, Insurance and Other Expenses

Responsibilities associated with the tractor demo will be as follows

• Delivery of tractor to winner: Butler Machinery
• Pickup/return transportation: Butler Machinery
• Diesel fuel: Winner
• DEF: Winner
• Insurance: Butler Machinery Company and Winner
• Routine maintenance during demo: Butler Machinery
• Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or unauthorized operation: Winner

Unless otherwise expressly stated in these Official Rules or the applicable equipment demonstration agreement, expenses associated with acceptance and use of the prize are the responsibility of the winner.

These responsibilities should be finalized before launch because restrictions and charges associated with obtaining or using a prize can be material disclosures. North Dakota’s applicable statute specifically identifies such restrictions and charges among its disclosure provisions.

Winner Selection and Odds

One potential winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period

The drawing will take place on or approximately January 11, 2027.

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period.

The potential winner will not be considered the official winner until Butler Machinery Company has verified eligibility and all required documentation and equipment-use requirements have been completed.

Winner Notification

The potential winner will be contacted by phone and/or email within seven (7) days of being selected, using the contact information provided on the entry form.

The potential winner must respond within 72 hours of the initial notification attempt.

Butler Machinery Company shall have no responsibility for a potential winner’s failure to receive notification due to spam or junk email filters, incorrect or outdated contact information, unavailable phone service, or other circumstances outside Butler Machinery Company’s reasonable control.

The potential winner may be required to provide proof of eligibility, identification, proof of insurance, and other required documentation before being confirmed as the winner.

Butler Machinery Company may disqualify that potential winner and select an alternate potential winner from the remaining eligible entries if the potential winner:

• Cannot be contacted
• Does not respond within the required timeframe
• Is determined to be ineligible
• Cannot satisfy insurance or equipment-use requirements
• Declines the prize
• Fails to complete required documentation

Butler Machinery Company may disqualify that potential winner and select an alternate potential winner from the remaining eligible entries.

No Cash or Ownership Alternative

The prize cannot be redeemed for cash.

The winner will not receive title to or ownership of the tractor.

The prize may not be sold, assigned, or transferred by the winner.

If the originally intended tractor becomes unavailable, Butler Machinery Company reserves the right to provide a different quality tractor or substitute a prize of equal or greater value where permitted by applicable law.

Taxes

The winner is responsible for any applicable federal, state, or local taxes, fees, or reporting obligations resulting from acceptance or use of the prize.

Butler Machinery Company may issue any tax documentation required by law.

Safety, Damage, and Liability

The winner and any authorized operators must operate the demo tractor safely and in accordance with all applicable laws, manufacturer instructions, safety procedures, equipment limitations, Butler Machinery Company requirements, and the applicable equipment demonstration agreement.

Responsibility for damage, excessive wear, negligent operation, misuse, unauthorized operation, recovery costs, or other damage associated with the tractor will be governed by Butler Machinery Company’s equipment demonstration agreement and applicable law.

Publicity

Except where prohibited by law, the winner may be asked to participate in reasonable promotional activities related to the Giveaway, including photography, video, or testimonials.

Butler Machinery Company may require the winner to sign a separate photo, video, testimonial, and/or publicity release before using the winner’s name, image, likeness, voice, agricultural operation, or related content for advertising or promotional purposes.

Privacy

Personal information submitted in connection with the Giveaway will be handled in accordance with the Butler Machinery Company Privacy Policy, available at https://butlermachinery.com/privacy-policy/.

Information provided through the entry form may be used as necessary to administer the Giveaway, verify eligibility, communicate with entrants, select and contact the winner, fulfill the prize, and comply with applicable legal requirements. Consent to receive promotional marketing communications from Butler Machinery Company is not required to enter or win and should be obtained separately where applicable.

General Conditions

Butler Machinery Company reserves the right, to the extent permitted by applicable law, to cancel, terminate, suspend, or modify the Giveaway if fraud, technical failures, equipment availability, circumstances outside its reasonable control, or other factors interfere with the fairness, integrity, or proper administration of the Giveaway.

Butler Machinery Company reserves the right to disqualify an entrant who provides false or misleading information, attempts to manipulate the entry or winner-selection process, violates these Official Rules, or otherwise fails to meet the eligibility requirements of the Giveaway.

By entering, each entrant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to these Official Rules.

Release and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, by entering the Giveaway, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Butler Machinery Company and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies, partners, representatives, employees, officers and directors from claims, liabilities, losses, or damages arising out of or relating to participation in the Giveaway or acceptance or use of the prize, except where such release is prohibited by law.

Additional liability, insurance, indemnification, equipment damage, and risk-of-loss terms may be contained in the equipment demonstration agreement the winner must execute before receiving the tractor.
